WHAT'S A LAUGHTER CLUB?
The LMA Laughter Club is a place where you can experience the joy of laughing in a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere.  Pure laughter, without the use of jokes or comedy, is used to provide light exercise for mental and physical flexibility, improved mood, reduced stress and an attitude boost.

You will learn simple practices that you can use to feel good and have a better outlook on life.  Laughter Clubs can be enjoyed by people in all age groups with virtually any level of physical or mental ability.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A MEETING?
Meetings usually last 30-45 minutes and follow this pattern:

  • Greeting participants and brief history, purpose of Laughter Clubs (10 minutes)

  • Laughter exercises, gentle stretching and breathing (20-30 minutes)

  • Good-Hearted Living - upbeat suggestions for changing attitudes (10-15 minutes)

  • Farewell cheer and encouragement
