"Holly has special insights about how organizations and employees can support each other." Holly Gardner Socolow has over 23 years of experience in human and organizational services. Joining LMA in 1999, she previously administered the State Employee Assistance Program (SEAP), which covered 100,000 employees and their families. There, she assisted managers and employees through workplace crises such as fatal accidents, threatening behavior and questionable behavior fitness for duty, helping to clarify the distinction between job performance and personal problems. Holly developed educational materials, co-produced videos on behavioral risk reduction and designed professional development conferences for human resources professionals.Holly brings this experience to LMA where she currently manages Employee Assistance Services. Along with her experienced team, Holly manages EAPs for 100 companies, covering 75,000 lives. Holly has contributed her expertise to many national and regional organizations including the National Institute of Peace, Harrisburg Area Community College's Women's Conference, Arthritis Foundation and WITF public television. A graduate of Lincoln University where she earned her master's degree in human services, Holly is an Advanced Critical Incident Debriefer and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). She is also an active member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association. Holly completed her intensive training program in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction in Mind-Body Medicine and brings her insights into stress and relaxation to enhance LMA's EAP and wellness services. "Elaine has a creative way of
helping people balance work and life issues." Elaine Boltz has extensive experience, insight and empathy for people trying to meet the sometimes competing demands of job and family members. She joined LMA in 1999, after over ten years at the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 and service in both the public and university education field. Elaine helped create LMA's Enhanced Employee Assistance Services (E-EAS) program, which offers options for employees in the sandwich generation. E-EAS connects employees who are juggling careers and childcare / eldercare with options for child and elder daycare, respite care and specialized living arrangements. These options provide caregivers with the time and resources they need to function more effectively as both employees and family members. In addition to managing EAP accounts and serving on LMA's Crisis Response Team, Elaine provides educational seminars. With extensive training in the positive power of humor, she has helped many individuals and organizations learn to use humor as an effective and appropriate resource for building resiliency and coping with difficulties in both their personal and work lives. Elaine is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in developmental and clinical psychology. She is certified as an Advanced Critical Incident Stress Debriefer. Elaine is an active member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association, served as Secretary of the Keystone Chapter and is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). Elaine has served as a volunteer for Bridge of Hope, board member of the Ephrata Performing Arts Center, where she co-chaired the corporate fundraising committee, advisory board member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls and as a volunteer for Boy Scouts of America. A Certified Laughter Leader (CLL) through the World Laughter Tour, Elaine facilitates Laughter Clubs where therapeutic laughter is used for health and wellness. "My goal is to link our EAP clients with affiliate providers
so together they can determine and accomplish their wellness goals." Carol Sanchez joined LMA in 2005 after working as a development coordinator, networking volunteers and coordinating events. She has a passion for wellness issues - mind, body, soul and spirit. Carol works behind the scenes to make sure that Life Management Associates' Employee Assistance Program clients receive comprehensive services and benefits in a variety of locations. Carol has located and credentialed affiliate providers in 26 states and Puerto Rico to ensure that clients have access to their EAP benefits. She regularly identifies new affiliate providers and surveys existing providers to verify that locations, services and licensures are current. She also provides information about LMA to both providers and clients. Carol assists with the preparation and delivery of programs including health fairs, LMA's wellness workshops, educational and lifestyle trainings. She answers questions about programs, registers participants, pulls supporting material together and makes sure that everything runs smoothly. When critical incidents happen, Carol locates and identifies LMA personnel or others qualified to manage a critical response, where employees are debriefed and given a chance to talk about what happened. Carol holds an associates degree in liberal arts, combined with over 25 years of self education in natural health and nutrition.
