It's critical that all employees are working to the standards set as a team. Even with great teamwork, there are times when our employees can be faced with personal situations that affect them. These situations not only take an individual human toll, they can have a direct impact on work performance and, over time, the morale of the team. As managers and supervisors, it is in our best interest to know about and avail ourselves of the full range of services available to us through the EAP, so that we can both support employees and meet our objectives. 80% of employees call the EAP on their own, and 20% call only at the suggestion of their supervisor.
